from Stanner Games -
Bay Shore's Stephanie Barnes won the
triple jump with a mark of 36-3 at the Stanner
Games at the Armory. Senior Jasmyne Spencer
placed third in the 55-meter high hurdles in
9.02 seconds and the long jump with a leap of
16-7 1/2. Junior Cherrice Brown was second in
the shot put at 34-8 1/4. Barnes, Kate Keagins,
Alexa DeLyra and Sarah McCurdy finished fourth
in 4x800 relay with a time of 9:44.01.
Millrose Games Results -
Brittany Silipo, Tenica Roberts, Stephanie
Barnes and Sarah McCurdy of Bay Shore won the
Suffolk 4x400 meter Relay with a time of 4:02.18
at the 168th St. Armory in Manhattan yesterday.
They will run the 4x400 at the Millrose Games
at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 1.
Brown Invitational Results -
Bay Shore's Tenica Roberts, Brittany
Silipo, Rashida Charles, Sarah McCurdy won the
sprint medley relay with a time of 4:12.34.
Stephanie Barnes, Alexa DeLyra, Chelsea Donaldson,
Kate Keagins placed third in the 4 x 800 race
with a time of 9:57. 43. Silipo, Roberts, Charles
and McCurdy also placed third in the 4 x 400
relay with a time of 4:08.30. Roberts placed
third in the invitational triple jump with 34
ft and 11 inches. Destiny Lalana won the one
mile walk with a time of 8:36.4. In the Distance
Meadley Relay championship, the team of Kim
Moran, Barnes, Keagins, McCurdy placed fourth
at 12:39.24. Moran was fifth in the 3000 meter
run with a time of 10:47.12. The shot put relay
team of Cherice Brown, Brianna Moore and Cindy
Creminio placed fifth with a distance of 89
ft and 1.75 inches.

Friday - Dec. 21, 2007
The Marauders' 4 x 1500 meter relay
consisting of Kate Kegins, Kim Moran, Stephanie
Barnes and Sarah McCurdy placed third running
with a time of 19:45.3 which establishes a new
Long Island Record, Suffolk County and Bay Shore
School Record.
Marauders Prove Strong in First Meet -
The first meet of the season was very exciting
for the Bay Shore Girls Winter Track Team. Brittany
Silipo made a big impression in her first ever
indoor track meet. Silipo placed second in the
55 meter dash running 7.6, and won the 300 meter
dash with a time of 43.7. That times ties the
time Tenica Roberts ran to win the Suffolk County
Championship last year!!! For complete results
