Powerhouse Patriots Sweep Bay Shore -
No. 1 ranked Ward Melville defeated No. 4 ranked Bay Shore 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-14 in the Suffolk County Class AA semifinals on Tuesday, November 10th. Haley Blunt led the way for the Patriots with 20 kills and three blocks and Leigh Anne Brazier added 12 kills and four blocks for top-seeded Ward Melville. The Patriots improve to an impressive 19-0 and will face No. 2 Smithtown East in the final at 8 p.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph's College. Ward Melville played Smithtown East on September 21st, beating them 3-0 in a non-league match.

No. 5 West Islip No Match for No. Bay Shore -
The fourth ranked Marauders slammed 5th ranked West Islip 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-9) on Saturday, November 7th in the quarterfinals of the Suffolk County Class AA playoffs. Senior Alyssa Leonerd recorded 25 kills and 22 digs to lead the Marauders. Senior Brianna Sullivan finished with 28 digs and senior Liz Webber had 9 blocks and five kills in the win. Bay Shore improves to (15-2) will travel to No. 1 ranked Ward Melville on Tuesday, November 10th at 5 pm. Bay Shore fell to the Patriots earlier this season but Coach DeBonis said she will change things up this time around.

No. 4 Marauders Dominate No. 13 East Islip -
Fourth ranked Bay Shore dominated defeating the 13th ranked Lady Redmen 25-20, 25-14, and 25-21 in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Senior hitter Alyssa Leonard had 19 kills, nine jump serve aces and nine digs and senior hitter Sarah Stein had 18 digs to lead No. 4 Bay Shore. Great defense was played by senior Brianna Sullivan and the freshmen super setters Jaime Mullane and Giana Panariello set the table for Bay Shore. The Marauders improve to 14-2 and host No. 5 West Islip on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Marauders Mangle Sachem North -
Bay Shore improves to 10-1 in league II with a 3-1 win over Sachem North on Monday, October 26th. Bay Shore beat the Flaming Arrows by scores of 25-18, 25-19, 20-25, 26-24. Alyssa Leonard had 36 digs and 28 kills in the victory. The Marauders will play their final regular season game on November 2nd as they host Central Islip at 5:45 pm.

Powerhouse Ward Melville Levels Bay Shore -
The Marauders falls short to Ward Melville 3-0 on Thursday, October 22nd. The Patriots were led by Alexa Stonish who had 22 digs and five aces and Noelle Morrison had 41 assists and six kills. Ward Melville remains undefeated and a powerhouse of Suffolk County with a record of 15-0. After starting out the season with nine straight wins, Bay Shore has dropped the last two games.

T-Birds Hand Bay Shore First Loss of the Season -
Connetquot defeated Bay Shore 3-2 on Monday, October 19th on the Lady Thunderbirds home court. T-Bird Bianca Kranz had 11 digs and 15 assists and Angela Kranz had 13 kills for Connetquot which won by scores of 25-19, 24-26, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21. Bay Shore falls to 9-1 and Connetquot improves to 8-2 in League II

Leonard De-Claws the Wildcats -
Senior hitter Alyssa Leonard led Bay Shore with 19 digs and 11 kills to top Walt Whitman 3-0. The Marauders won by scores of to 25-11, 25-15, 25-20 as they improve to 9-0 on the season. Senior hitter Sarah Stein added 11 digs and eight kills and freshman setter Gianna Panarella had 12 assists and nine digs.

Leonard Leads Bay Shore -
Senior Alyssa Leonard had 23 kills and 27 digs to lead Bay Shore over Babylon 3-0 on Thursday, October 15th. Bay Shore remains undefeated with a perfect 8-0 record as they won by scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-18 in League II action.

Marzillo Leads Marauders Over CI -
Junior outside hitter Nicole Marzillo had six digs and six kills to lead Bay Shore to a 3-0 win over Central Islip on Tuesday, October 6th. The Marauders won by scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-7. Bay Shore remains undefeated and improves to 7-0 on the season.

Panariello Assists Bay Shore -
Freshman setter Giana Panariello had 15 assists to lead the Marauders over Northport 3-0 on Friday, October 2nd. Junior outside hitter Alyssa Leonerd had 30 kills and 18 digs as Bay Shore remains undefeated at an impressive 5-0. The Marauders travel to Central Islip next on October 6th.

Sachem North No Match for Bay Shore -
The Marauders defeated Sachem North 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-20 on Wednesday, September 30th. Senior Alyssa Leonard had 19 digs and 17 kills to lead the Marauders. Bay Shore improves to 5-0 in a win and is currently first in league II standings followed closely by Connetquot who is 4-1. Bay Shore faces Northport next on October 2nd at 5:45 pm. In their first meeting between Northport and the Marauders, Bay Shore won in five after dropping the first two games.

Bay Shore Beats Lady Thunderbirds in Five -
After losing the first two games, Bay Shore bounced back to take the next three, defeating Connetqot 3-2. Senior Alyssa Leonard had 35 digs, 22 kills and five aces. Teammate senior Brianna Sullivan had 35 digs and Sarah Stein had 22 digs and seven kills to lead Bay Shore 21-25, 18-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-12 in League II. Connetquot falls to 3-1, while Bay Shore improves to 3-0.

Mullane Assists Bay Shore -
Freshman setter Jaime Mullane recorded 14 assists to lead Bay Shore over Hills West 3-0 on Monday, September 21st. Senior outside hitter Alyssa Leonard had 24 digs and 13 kills. Mullane added seven aces as the Marauders won by scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-18 and improve to 3-0 in non-league action.

Marauders Slam Lindenhurst -

Bay Shore took three straight games from Lindenhurst for their second straight victory of the season. The Marauders were led by Alyssa Leonard had 27 digs and 14 kills and Brianna Sullivan had 20 digs to lead Bay Shore (2-0) 25-23, 25-21, 25-21 in League II. Bay Shore jumps back into action on September 21st when they host HHH West at 4:00 for a non-league game.

Bay Shore Wins Season Opener -

The Marauders defeated Northport 3-2 in a thriller for their first win of the season on Monday, September 14th. Bay Shore senior Alyssa Leonard had 39 kills and 31 digs to lead the Marauders. Junior Brianna Sullivan added 28 digs in the win. Bay Shore improves to (1-0) in League II and Northport falls to 0-1.
