Marauder Award Winners -
Senior setter Courtney Falconer and sophomore outside hitter Alyssa Leonard were named to the All County Team. Senior middle hitter Chelsea Callahan and senior setter Nicole Weissert were named to the All Conference Team and senior outstanding defender Jill Onderdonk was named to the All League Team. Callahan, Leonard and Onderdonk also received All County Tournament Team Honors for their great play during the playoffs. Congratulations to the entire Bay Shore Girls Volleyball Team for a successful 2007 season.

Bay Shore Goes Down With a Fight 3-2 in Semi's -
It was an exciting night at Connetquot High School as the fourth ranked Marauders fought til the end in a 3-2 battle with top seeded and league rival Connetquot. The T-Birds edged Bay Shore in the decided match 25-21 to advance to the Suffolk County Finals against #3 Ward Melville. Great defense was played by Jill Onderdonk, Alyssa Leonard, and Nicole Weissert. The offense was sparked by Chelsea Callahan, Courtney Falconer, Leonard, and Ashley Winkler. Good Luck to the senior class of Falconer, Winkler, Callahan and Onderdonk.


Marauders Advance to Suffolk Semi's -
No. 4 Bay Shore defeated the No. 5 Bellport Clippers 3-0 in the Suffolk County Quarterfinals. Sophomore hitter Alyssa Leonard led the way for the Marauders with 18 kills, 11 digs and five aces in the 25-21, 25-16, 26-24 victory. Senior setter Courtney Falconer added to the win recording 16 assists. Bay Shore plays No.1 Connetquot at Connetquot at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Connetquot defeated the Marauders twice during the regular season.

Leonard Leads Bay Shore Over HHH West -
Sophomore outside hitter Alyssa Leonard had 30 digs and 25 kills to lead No. 4 Bay Shore in a 25-20, 26-24, 24-26, 25-21 win over No. 13 Hills West. Junior setter Nicole Weissert had 24 assists in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA. Bay Shore host No. 5 Bellport at 4 p.m on Saturday in the second round.

Bay Shore Falls Short Against T-Birds -
The Marauders traveled to Connetquot to decide the League II Championship and fell short 1-3. The T-Birds just edged Bay Shore 26-24 in the first match. The Marauders responded by taking the second match but dropped the next two to be defeated. The Suffolk County Girls Volleyball playoffs will begin on Thursday, November 1st. Bracket Info TBA.

Falconer Assists Bay Shore in Win Over Sachem North -
Senior setter Courtney Falconer had 22 assists to lead the Marauders over Sachem North 3-1. Sophomore Alyssa Leonard had 21 kills and 21 digs as Bay Shore improves to (10-1) in a 25-16, 25-15, 21-15, 25-22 win. The Marauders will play for the League II championship on Tuesday at Connetquot.

Marauders Win Sixth Straight -
Bay Shore is on a roll winning their sixth straight game. Alyssa Leonard had 21 kills and 21 digs and Courtney Falconer added 22 assists to lead Bay Shore over Sachem North 3-1. Bay Shore (10-1) defeated the 'Arrows' 25-16, 25-15, 21-15, 25-22. Sachem North is currently right below the Marauders in the standings. Bay Shore will face Connetquot on Tuesday for the the League II championship at Connetquot.

Meltsner, Bay Shore's Ace Over CI -
Junior Juliet Meltsner had eight aces to lead Bay Shore over Central Islip 25-16, 25-6, 25-12 . Courtney Falconer had 16 assists in the 3-0 win.

Leonard Leads Bay Shore Over Northport -
Sophomore Alyssa Leonard had 24 digs and 11 kills to lead Bay Shore over Northport. After a close first match which ended 26-24, Bay Shore went on to finish Northport 25-16, 25-17 for the sweep.

Marauders Sweep Whitman 3-0 -
Senior Courtney Falconer and Sophomore Brianna Sullivan lead Bay Shore with 12 digs each. The Marauders knocked off Walt Whitman 25-18, 25-4, 25-18 for the victory.

Bay Shore Plays Great Defense -
Senior Jill Onderdonk played amazing defense with 20 digs to lead the Marauders over Commack. Sophomore Alyssa Leonard added had 26 digs and 13 kills in the 25-20, 29-27, 25-20 sweep of Commack. Bay Shore is 5-1 and currently in second place behind powerhouse Connetquot who is 9-0 in conference games.

Marauders Pull Off Come From Behind Victory -
Aftering being down in the first two matches, Bay Shore responds by winning the next three to defeat Bellport 3-2. Alyssa Leonard had 25 kills and 25 digs and Nicole Weissert added 27 assists for Bay Shore in a 24-26, 18-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21 win. Marauders rise to second place and improve to 3-0 in League II-AA.

Connetquot Edges Bay Shore 3-2 -
The second seeded Marauders were edged by the top seeded T-Birds 3-2 (25-16, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20). The T-Birds defeated Bay Shore 25-20 in both the fourth and fifth game to seal the victory. Connetquot clinched a playoff spot with the win.

Marauders Smash Northport 3-0 -
Junior Nicole Weissert had 13 total aces including 10 straight in game two for Bay Shore in a 25-19, 25-18, 25-17 win over Northport. Alyssa Leonard had 15 digs and 15 kills.

Bay Shore Solid Against Northport-
The Marauders defeated Northport 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-17) on Tuesday, September 19th. Junior setter Nicole Weissert had 13 total aces including 10 straight in game two for Bay Shore. Sophomore hitter Alyssa Leonard had 15 digs and 15 kills.

Marauders Dominate Over Whitman -
Sophomore Sarah Stein was stellar for Bay Shore recording eight aces and 10 digs to lead Bay Shore in a 25-20, 25-20, 25-10 victory over Walt Whitman. Bay Shore improves to 2-1 on the season.

Leonard Leads Marauders Over Commack -
Sophomore Alyssa Leonard had a team-high 27 kills to lead Bay Shore over Commack 3-1. Leonard added 14 digs for Bay Shore in a 21-25, 29-27, 25-16, 25-18 win over the courgars. Senior Jill Onderdonk had 17 digs.
