Bay Shore Takes Third at League I Championships -
The Marauders were ranked third and eventually took 3rd place in the League I Championships on November 5th. Seven of the Bay Shore swimmers received All-League honors for their performance during the Championship.

Bay Shore/Brentwood Downs Deer Park/NB -
Baywood defeated Deer Park/North Babylon 97-81 on their lat dual meet of the season. After the 5th event the score was a virtual tie 35-37 "Bay Wood". The Marauders and Brentwood had a great second half of the meet placing 1st six times, in the remaining seven events.

Marauders Drown Central Islip/Commack - Congratulation to Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team on their 93-79 win against C.I./Commack, on October 22nd. It was "Baywoods" senior day and their last home meet.
Congradulations to Katie, Marissa, Tatiana, Kristine, Julia, Alexandria, Lauren and Bryana who all contributed to a first place finish!

Please come out and support our fast girls in the water on 10/27 at Deer Park H.S. The meet will start at 4 PM.

Bay Shore Beats William Floyd -
The Marauders took 11 out of 12 events, including three relays to beat William Floyd 88-79 on October 14th. Julia Wendt , Kristine, Alexandria Angst, Karina Goode, Tatiana Angel and Marissa O'Meally all contributed to 1st place finishes to lead Bay Shore. Additionally, Katie Lawlor, Michelle Esposito and Sydney Leone had two solid swims each for combined 20 points. Coach Borkowski wanted to say thank you to the loyal fans and say your attendance is always greatly appreciated!

Harborfields Tops Baywood -
The Marauders were edged by Harborfields 86-81 on October 1st in a non-league match.Highlights include Bryana Romanzi who took 1st in 1 meter diving - 134.55,
Christine Vizcaino who took 1st in 100 Breaststroke - 1:15.55, and Nicole Capediferro who swam away with two personal bests in 200 yards freestyle and 500 yards freestyle. Capediferro was the meet's MVP for "Bay Wood". Also, outstanding performances were swam by Sidney Leone and Michelle Esposito, who both had scored combined 8 point for team Bay Shore and Brentwod.

Sachem North vs. Bay Shore/Brentwood "Bay Wood" -
Baywood fell short to Sachem North 100-86 on Monday, September 21st. Even though the Marauders lost, three Relays made county championship qualifying times and they include the 200 Medly Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay. The Bay Shore Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team will be entering its 8th season. The Marauders ended last year with a 5-4 record and finished 3rd in the league. This year the girls are excited for their second season of being combined with Brentwood High School’s swim team. While the team lost many strong swimmers last year we look forward to a successful season with several new team members in addition to its dedicated returning members. A few swimmers have accepted the challenge of filling the vacant diving spots. These two new divers are Shelby Vaccaro and Bryana Romanzi, who will greatly improve the teams overall point totals. We look forward to a fun and rewarding season.
