Marauders Recognized -
The Bay Shore Marauders Swimming and Diving team is getting seven All-League Awards at a Section XI swimming and diving banquet. The dinner will be held Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 from 7:00-9:30 at the Watermill in Smithtown . The athletes being recognized are:

Bay Shore Knots Third Place -
The Marauders finished with 184 points which was good for third place in the Suffolk League II Mid-Size Championships on November 2nd. Connetquot took first with a dominating performance scoring 409 points, followed by Sachem North with 285 points.

Marauder Down Central Islip 80-65 -
Bay Shore girls dominated placing first in 15 different events to defeat Central Islip 80-65.Katie Lawlor won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:25.4 and she won the 500-yard freestyle in 6:24.03 for Bay Shore. The Marauders won their last regular season game on the season to finish in second place.

Bay Shore Blanks Commack 96-82 -
The Marauders defeated Commack 96-82 on Monday, October 22nd. Alexa Delyra won the 100-yard fly (1:10.87) and the 100 breastroke (1:17.36) and Morgan Hoffman won the 200 IM (2:26.30) and 100 backstroke (1:07.62) for Bay Shore. More results to follow.

Bay Shore Defeated William Floyd 90-80 -
The Marauders continue to dominate in the pool, improving their record to 3-0 on the season. Bay Shore had six first-place finishers in the 90-80 win over Floyd.

Marauders Down West Babylon 88-76-
On monday 24, 2007, the Bay Shore girl's Varsity Swimming and Diving team achieved a stunning victory against West Babylon making this season's record 2-0. Morgan Hoffman broke a Bay Shore Varsity record in the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:05.08. The previous record was also held by Morgan, making this a personal best time as well. Diana Donnahue competed in her second ever diving event today and qualified for the County Championships with a score of 170.68. Katie Lawlor also made a personal best time in the 500 yard freestyle of 6:31.57, coming in first place in her heat. Kyle Luqman came in first place for both the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle with times of 28.19 and 1:03.70 respectively. The girls came together and won all of the A-relays putting us in a lead throughout the whole swim meet. Good luck with the meet against William Floyd next tuesday!
