O'Conner Leads Bay Shore Over Hauppauge - Seventh-grader Olivia O'Connor won the vault (8.4), balance beam (8.8), uneven bars (9.0) and all-around (35.3) for Bay Shore to lead Bay Shore over Hauppauge 152.6-151.95. The Marauders' score was their highest score of the season in its last league meet. O'Connor's older sister, ninth-grader Mackenzie, won floor (9.15). Bay Shore's Samantha Donohue competed with a bad wrist.

Port Jefferson Hands Bay Shore Loss -
The Marauders were downed by Port Jefferson by a score of 147.75-146.8 on Monday, October 15th. Brenna and Olivia tied for first on vault (8.7); Olivia O'Conner took first on bars (8.9) and beam (9.3); and Mackenzie O'Conner took first on floor (9.1). Bay Shore's score (146.8) was the team's highest this season. All the girls have been contributing to the team's scores: Daniella Defonte has been competing on vault and bars; Kerry Maerki has been competing on bars, beam and floor; Carly Rancenelli has been competing on bars, beam and floor; and Kaitlyn Arnold has been competing on vault, bars and floor. Sami Donohue has a wrist injury, but she competed on vault yesterday, scoring an 8.1.

Shoreham Edges Bay Shore -
Shoreham Wading River edged Bay Shore by a score of 137.15- 136.25. Seventh-grader Olivia O'Conner took first on bars (8.7) and beam (9.2). Freshman Brenna O'Conner took first on vault (8.4).

Marauders Defeat Copiague -
Bay Shore topped Copiague (130.375) - (87.25). Highlights in the victory include Olivia O'Connor scoring a 9.325 on floor exercise and Mackenzie O'Connor scoring a 9.0 on floor exercise. Marauders are next in action on Wednesday, October 8th at Shoreham-Wading River.

East Islip Downs Bay Shore -
The Lady Redmen defeated the Marauders by a score of 147.25-119.40. Olivia O'Connor scored a 9.10 on the floor exercise.

Marauders Defeat Harborfields -

Bay Shore knocked off Harborfields by a score of 140.075- 135.2. Olivia O'Connor won the uneven bars with an 8.15, and balance beam with an 8.9 and floor exercise with a 9.05 for Bay Shore and sister Brenna O'Connor finished first on vault with an 8.875.

Smithtown Tops Bay Shore -

Bay Shore's Olivia O'Connor the all-around (34.8) but it wasn't enough as Smithtown defeated the Marauders.

North Babylon Victorious Over Bay Shore -
The Bulldogs defeated the Marauders barely by a score of 139.138.6 in the first non-league meet of the year.

The girls are coached by graduate of Bay Shore Jeff Reid. Jeff was a member of Coach Pfeffer's team in the late 1970's and attended the University of Wisconsin on a gymnastics scholarship.
