Brown Invitational -
The Marauders finished in third place in the varsity II race at the Brown Invitational on Saturday, October 17th. Lindsay Arcuri led Bay Shore coming in sixth overall with a time of 18:52.1 in the 5K at Goddard Park. Kathryn Glynn finished 17th with a time of 19:13.1.

Marauders Slam Wildcats -
Bay Shore defeated Walt Whitman 15-50 on Tuesday, September 29th at Sunken Meadow State Park. It was a cloudy and windy on the 68 degree day as Bay Shore evened its record at 1-1. Bay Shore took the first ten places, lead by ninth grader Lindsay Arcuri. Lindsay ran a pb 19:52. Regina Peattie also ran a pb placing second with a time of 19:59. Kathryn Glynn was third with a time of 20:23. Darleen Eiermann ran the best xc race of her life, placing fourth with a pb time of 20:49. Megan O’Donovan was fifth with a time of 20:52. Ninth grader Melinda Czaja was a step back running a pb time of 20:52. Danielle Glynn also recorded a pb of 20:57, placing seventh. Catherine Schmidt 21:13, Destiny Lalane 21:20, and Vicki Tiedemann 21:45 rounded out the top ten. Freshman Alyssa Gravina ran her first 3 mile race, placing nineteenth with a time of 23:07.

Marauders Control Race, Top Connetquot -
Bay Shore dominated Sunken Meadow's hilly course defeating the Lady Thunderbirds 16-43 on Tuesday, October 6th. HKatherine Glynn finished first (19:26) in the 3-mile course and teammate Lindsay Arcuri finished second with a time of 19:41.

Northport Slams Bay Shore -
The rivalry continues between two of the best teams on Long Island. In a dual meet, Northport took the first four places, Bay Shore followed with the next four places. The result was a convincing win for Northport, 19-37. The Marauders lost to Northport a year ago and came back to beat them in the County Championships. Northport has always been a team that runs well early in the season, Bay Shore a team that runs well at the end of the season. For complete results click here.

Marauders Smash Whitman 15-50 -
Bay Shore defeated Walt Whitman 15-50 on Tuesday, September 29th. Lindsay Arcuri came in first with a time of 19:52 in a three mile run at Sunken Meadow Park to lead Bay Shore (1-1) in League III. Regina Peatie captured second for Bay Shore with a time of 19:59.

Bay Shore Wins Bob Pratt Invitational -
In the Varsity “A” Race, we came out on top, beating fifteen other teams. Top three teams: 1. Bay Shore 80; 2. Smithtown 97; 3. Nanuet 100. For the second meet in a row, ninth grader Lindsay Arcuri lead the team placing 9 th with a time of 21:13.25. The Junior Varsity finished second being led by Danielle Glynn who finished 8th. Suffern Invite @ Bear Mountain -
Bay Shore finished second at the Suffern Invite. Lindsay Arcuri led Bay Shore as thetop finisher, moving up throughout the race to place seventh with a time of 19:47.79. Kathryn Glynn finished well placing 11th with a time of 20:23.05. Regina Peattie, who missed almost the entire 2008 season because of a broken foot, rebounded with a 13th place finish running 20:31.98.

Olivia Civardi ran in her first college race and currently is the #1 runner at Sacred Heart. Ally Panos is a junior at Albany and is the #3 runner for them in cross country. Freshman, Stephanie Barnes is the #6 runner for St. John's University. Freshman, Kim Moran is the #4 runner for UCONN. Good results early in the 2009 XC season for Bay Shore Grads!
