Bay Shore tops Northport 2-1 by scores
of 787-655, 757-722, 655-852 on Thursday, January
31st. In their last home game, senior Gaby Gomez
rolled a high of 207 in Game 3 of a 497 series
and senior Kate Cangelosi rolled a 180 to lead
Bay Shore to victory.
Bay Shore Falls to Sachem North -
The 'Arrows were defeated the Marauders
by scores of 947-766, 1036-793, 862-767. More
results to follow. The Marauders have their
last match of the season this Thursday, January
31st at the Bay Shore Bowling Alley.
Lions Knock Off Marauders 3-0 -
West Islip was led by McQuade who rolled
a high of 172 in Game 3 of a 435 series to lead
West Islip over Bay Shore 682-642, 736, 670,
760-684. More results to follow.
Second Ranked Islip Defeats Bay Shore -
Islip is the second strongest team in the division
and the Marauders took the third match against
the Bucs'. The first two matches were won by
Islip 870-684 and 1003-730. The Marauders came
back to win the last game 812-722. Bay Shore
had some very nice games shot by Ashley Fogarty
with a 175 and a series of 486, Aja Johnson
with a 187 and a 194, and Amber Fogarty with
a 198.
West Babylon Tops Bay Shore -
The Marauders took the first match but fell
to West Babylon the next two. Bay Shore won
the first match with a series of 756 to 633.
The next two matches were led by West Babylon
773-673 and 810-705. Kellie Tierney was able
to win all three of her match points for the
team. We had a couple of nice games shot by
Jackie Massoni with a 171 and Gaby Gomez with
a 197.
Smithtown Tops Marauders 3-0 -
Bay Shore came close to taking a game
or two but couldn't find a win against Smithtown.
The Marauders lost by scores of 777-614, 808-711
and 720-706. Junior Ashley Fogarty had a game
high 172 for the Marauders.
East Islip Solid Against Bay Shore -
The 2006-07 League I Champions are
holding up to their reputation by defeating
the Marauders 3-0. In game 2, the Lady Redmen
recorded the best single-game total in the county
(1,136). Bay Shore lost by scores of 1106-688,
1136-722, 1110-667. The Marauders are next in
action on January 10th as they host Smithtown.
Marauders Knock Off Northport -
Bay Shore defeated Northport 2 out
of 3 games for their first win of the season.
The Marauder team captain senior Gaby Gomez
won all three of her match points. Junior Jackie
Massoni had a nice series of a 489 with a high
game of 185. Senior Colleen Taggart also shot
a nice game of a 174 winning her point. Our
team won the high game with a 736 and series
with the total wood being 2210 to their 2084.
Bay Shore wound up winning 23 points.
Marauders Fall to Sachem North 2-1 -
Junior Jackie Massoni bowled a team
high 202 and won her game but it wasn't enough
as the 'Arrows defeated Bay Shore 2-1. Junior
Ashley Forgarty bowled a 174, 174, and 166 and
won two of her games for a 614 series. The Marauders
are next in action in the new year on January
3rd when they travel to Northport for a 3:30
contest.
West Islip Tops Bay Shore2-1 -
The Lady Lions defeated the Marauders
705-651, 690-715, 806-711good for a 2-1 win
in a league match at the Bay Shore Bowling Alley.
Bay Shore freshman Amber Fogarty bowled a team
high 168 and junior Ashley Fogarty bowled a
166 to lead Bay Shore.
Islip Downs Bay Shore 3-0 -
Islip defeated the Marauders 3-0 on
Monday, December 17th at the Bay Shore Bowling
Alley. Bay Shore. Islip downed the Marauders
by scores of 822-654, 878-682, 901-716 for the
win. Junior Ashley Fogarty led Bay Shore shooting
a 152 in Game 2 for a 436 series.
Smithtown Edges Marauders 2-1 -
Bay Shore out-bowled Smithtown in game
three of the series but it was to little too
late as Smithtown took game one and two for
the victory. The final scores were 752-627,
829-687, 723-734 for Smithtown respectively.
East Islip Tops Bay Shore 3-0 -
The Lady Marauders fell to rival and defending
NYS Champions East Islip 3-0 (1032-659, 984-750,
955-784) in the season opener. Freshman Amber
Fogarty shot a 197 in Game 3 of a 512 series
for Bay Shore but it wasn't enough as the Marauders
dropped their first match.
