Marauders Fall Short in Playoffs-
For the first time in 18 years the Bay Shore Football Team made it to the playoffs under the wings of coach Jim Giattino. Unfortunately, the Marauders were matched up against North Babylon who they just lost to in the last game of the regular season. The playoffs were much of the same as North Babylon defeated Bay Shore 38-12.
The Marauders junior Karl Allison returned a kick off 95 yards to put Bay Shore on the board first. The Bulldogs answered back with a touchhdown of their own and a kick that was good for the 7-6 advantage in the first quarter. The Bulldogs extended their lead with a 36 yard field goal in the second quarter and headed into halftime leading 10-6. Bay Shore scored once more in the third quarter as quarterback Michael Moore hit receiver Jaquese Jones for a 15 yard touchdown pass. North Babylon scored a total of 21 points in the third quarter and never look back for the victory. The Marauders conclude their season with a record of 5-4.

Bulldogs Bite Bay Shore -
The North Babylon Bulldogs defeated Bay Shore 35-14 on Saturday, October 31st. Bay Shore scored first when Willard Hall caught a pass from Michael Moore for a touchdown followed by an extra point from Tyler White. The Marauders added to their offense with connection between Hall and Moore. The Babylon defense took over from there keeping Bay Shore scoreless in the second half, while their offense exploded for 22 points for the victory. North Babylon improves to 8-0 on the season, while Bay Shore concludes their regular season record at 5-3.

Moore Leads Bay Shore Over Copiague -
Senior quarterback Michael Moore led the Marauders to a 45-2 win over Copiague on Saturday, October 24th. Moore was 10-for-15 for 102 yards and had 13 carries for 88 yards and a career-high three rushing touchdowns for Bay Shore. Runningback Zenel Hudson had 11 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown. Kicker Tyler White was 3-for-3 in extra points. Defensive standout Patrick Phillips had 11 tackles and a sack and Pat Rainis had 10 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery. Hudson had three knocked down passes.

Bay Shore Blanks Half Hollow Hills East -
The Marauders started and ended strong to defeat HHH East 41-33 on Saturday, October 17th. The Marauders outscored 'East 20-6 in the first quarter and 14-6 in the fourth quarter to run away with the victory on their opponents home turf. Quarterback Michael Moore was 6-for-10 with 50 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 156 yards and two scores to lead Bay Shore (4-2) in Divsision II. Moore's 8-yard touchdown gave Bay Shore a 34-27 lead. Half Hollow Hills East then scored on a 1-yard run to pull within a point, but Moore scored on a 2-yard plunge to create the final margin. Half Hollow Hills East drove to the 18, but Zenel Hudson intercepted his second pass with 50 seconds left to squash the rally. Hudson had 158 yards and a touchdown on offense. Jon Flood had 14 tackles and forced a fumble to lead the defense.

Bay Shore Blows Out Centereach -
The Marauders had a total of 412 yards of offense as Bay Shore went on to destroy Centereach 40-7 on Friday, October 9th. Senior quarterback Michael Moore was 7-for-12 with 164 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 87 yards to lead Bay Shore. Senior Dwayne Sains rushed for a touchdown and caught another and senior Will Hill had four catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns for the Marauders. On defense, junior Karl Allison had six tackles and two interceptions to lead Bay Shore's defense. Allison one returned one interceptin for a touchdown in the third quarter. John Flood had 11 tackles, senior Mike Lifavi had eight tackles, junior Devan Smith had six tackles and forced a fumble and junior Demyrus Merriweather had a sack.

Marauders Shutout Newfield -
Bay Shore dominted on both sides of the field, offensively and defensively, as they topped shutout Newfield 31-0. Quarterback Michael Moore went 13-for-20 for 163 yards with 2 TDs and rushed for 68 yards on 13 carries to lead Bay Shore in Division II. Devan Smith had four receptions for 56 yards with a TD and Will Hill had four receptions for 67 yards. Karl Hall scored on a 5-yard pass from Michael Moore to give Bay Shore a 7-0 lead with 6:27 left in the first quarter. Zenel Hudson scored on a 49-yard interception return on the ensuing drive when Newfield turned it over to extend it to 14-0. Tyler White hit a 29-yard field goal with four minutes left in the first half for a 17-0 halftime lead. Bay Shore had a seven-minute drive to begin the fourth quarter and it was capped by a 7-yard pass from Moore to Devan Smith for a 24-0 lead. Mike Lifavi had 17 tackles, Smith had 10 tackles, and Jerry Nogueras had seven tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery. Ishmael McGhee added eight tackles and a sack. Bay Shore held Newfield (1-3) to 73 totals yards.

Smithtown West Slams Bay Shore -
The Marauders were downed by Smithtown West 26-7 on Thursday, September 17th on Bay Shore's turf. Smithtown West held the Marauders scoreless until the fourth quarter when Moore ran for 10 yards to find the end zone. Bay Shore is next in action on September 26th when they travel to Bellport for a 1:30 pm game.


Bay Shore Wins Season Opener -

On a deary Saturday afternoon the Marauders defeated Smithtown East 36-20. Bay Shore took the early 8-0 lead in the first quarter but gave up 14 points to Smithtown East in the second to head into halftime tied at 14-14. Bay Shore scored eight in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth to down for the victory. Bay Shore's quarterback Michael Moore made three third-down conversions and completed a 5-yard pass to Will Hill on a fourth down with 21 seconds left in the half to tie the score at 14. Dwayne Sains' 45-yard run in the third quarter put Bay Shore ahead in Division II. Defensive tackle Adrian Mack forced a fumble with the score tied in the middle of the fourth quarter and give possession to Bay Shore. Mack added eight solo tackles. Jaquese Jones added 10 tackles. Smithtown East falls to 0-1.
