Top Seeded Hills West Ends Bay Shore's Season -
No. 1 ranked Half Hallow Hills West concluded the No. 13 ranked Marauders 2010 season. Undefeated powerhouse Hills West won by a score of 96-48 on Sunday, February 28th at Farmingdale CC in the Suffolk County Class AA Semi Finals. Both Malik Jackson and Jordan Allen led Bay Shore in scoring with 10 points a piece. Hills West improves to a perfect 21-0 and will face Longwood in the finals.

Marauders Upset Indians -
No. 13 ranked Bay Shore defeated No. 5th Brentwood on February 23rd by a score of 76-66 on the Indians home court. Freshman Bryson Lassiter had a key steal in the fourth quarter coming off the bench to seal the win and Malik Jackson led Bay Shore with 23 points including five 3-pointers. Karl Hall led the second quarter defensively in the Class AA quarterfinals. Bay Shore will play Sunday at Farmingdale against top-seeded Half Hollow Hills West in the semifinals. No. 5 Brentwood finishes the season 14-6, while Bay Shore improves to 11-8.

Bay Shore Stuns East Islip -
No. 13 ranked Marauders topped No. 4 ranked Redmen 65-44 on February 19th. Jordan Allen had 12 of his 18 points during a 40-22 second half as No.13 Bay Shore (10-8) upset fourth-seeded East Islip in a Suffolk AA first-round game. Allen had eight rebounds and Malik Jackson added 17 points. Karl Hall (six points) led a solid Marauder defense with four steals. Bay Shore plays at the winner of No.12 Newfield vs. fifth-seeded Brentwood on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Evan Maxwell led East Islip (13-3) with 15 points.

Bulldogs Wins League II Title -
With a 56-50 win over Bay Shore, Lindenhurst clinched the League II title. The Bulldogs and the Marauders had almost the identical score as the first time they played one another (56-51) on January 15th. Jordan Allen had 23 points for Bay Shore who ends the season in third place at 7-5. Will Hill chipped in 14 points and Karl Hall andKJ Hammond both scored five points for the Marauders.

Jackson Scores a Career High 37 Points -
Bay Shore was led by senior Malik Jackson who scored a career high 37 points in a 62-55 win over Central Islip. Jackson also had three three-pointers in the first three minutes of the game sending the message to the Buccaneers and added 10 rebounds and four blocks in the win. Jordan Allen added 11 points and Lessiter finished with seven points as Bay Shore improves to 7-4 in League II.

Wildcats Scratch Bay Shore -
Walt Whitman defeated the Marauders 52-43 on February 2nd. Freshman Bruce Thompson scored a team-high 10 points, followed by John Horrowitz and Malik Jackson who both had eight points. Jordan had three buckets, KJ Hammond had two buckets and Ken Barnes finished with two points. Whitman improves to 7-3 in League II., while Bay Shore drops to 6-4.

Sachem North Upsets the Marauders -
The Flammin' Arrows stunned Bay Shore with a 55-50 win on the Marauders home court on January 28th. Vinny Vacanti hit a layup with 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, starting a 13-4 run to help Sachem North (3-6) pull away in League II. Malik Jackson led the Marauders with 14 points, Jordan Allen added 11 points and Will Hill had seven points in the loss.

Marauders Beat Northport -
Bay Shore defeated the Tigers 42-37 on Thursday, January 28th. Junior Jordan Allen scored 10 points and was one of 10 players to score for Bay Shore. Kenny Barnes and Malik Jackson added five points a piece. The Marauders improve to 6-2 in League II and counterpart Northport falls (2-6).


Bay Shore Drops Second Straight -
With the Marauders out some players, Connetquot got their first league win on the season with a 60-50 win. Kieren McArdle made seven foul shots to pace Connetquot (1-7) in a 21-21 fourth quarter to hold on for the win in League II. McArdle was 11-for-11 from the foul line and scored a game-high 21 points, with six assists. Bay Shore had a one-point lead after the first quarter but had a sluggish second quarter to fall behind by 25-18. The Marauders couldn't overcome the deficit and fall to 5-2 in leauge II. Ken Barnes led Bay Shore in scoring with 15 points and Bruce Thompson had 11 points in the loss.

Lindenhurst Hands Bay Shore First League Loss -
The Bulldogs knocked off the Marauders 56-51 on Friday, January 15th. Bay Shore could not contain Rob Balkam who scored a career-high 22 points and made six three-pointers for Lindenhurst. Christian Kollm made 5 of 6 free throws with under a minute left to seal the win. Malik Jackson scored a game-high 23 points for Bay Shore. The Marauders outscored Lindy 25-18 but it wasn't enough as they fall to 5-1 in League II play.

Marauders Remain Undefeated -

Bay Shore tops Central Islip 61-51 on Tuesday, January 12th to remain undefeated at 5-0 on the season. Junior Jordan Allen had 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead Bay Shore in League II action. Jordan Awoye added nine points and six rebounds, Brandon Turner had nine points and Karl Hall had eight.


Marauders Win at the Buzzer -
Jordan Allen scored on a put back as time expired giving Bay Shore a 49-47 win over Walt Whitman in League II action. Allen scored the winning bucket off of Karl Halls missed shot. Allen finished with 19 points and Malik Jackson added 17 in the win. Great defense was played by Hall, Brandon Turner and Bryson Lassiter. The Marauders remain undefeated at 4-0 in League II.

Horowitz Seals Win for Bay Shore -
Junior John Horowitz made two free throws with 24 seconds remaining to put Bay Shore up by six in 68-60 win over Sachem North on January 5th. Horowitz finished with 13 points and senior Brandon Turner had 26 points and eight rebounds. Malik Jackson added 17 points in the victory as the Marauders improve to 3-0 on League II play.

Hempstead Halts Bay Shore's Winning Streak -
The Marauders couldn't overcome a shaky second quarter as Hempstead defeated Bay Shore 58-54 on Wednesday, December 30th. The Marauders had an early 15-11advantage but Hempstead won the second half 18-7 to head into half time leading 28-22. Bay Shore outscored Hempstead in the second half but the deficit was too much to surpass. Bay Shore's Malik Jackson scored a team high 15 points and Brandon Turner finished with 11 points as Hempstead stopped the Marauder winning streak at four games.

Bay Shore Smacks Bridgehampton -
The Marauders dominated their game vs Bridgehampton by a score of 66-31 on December 28th. Jordan Allen had 20 points, five rebounds and five steals to lead Bay Shore. Malik Jackson added 10 points and Jordan Awoye finished with eight points. As a team, the Marauders recorded 20 steals, in non-league to improve to 4-2 overall.

Northport No Match for Bay Shore -
The Marauders defeated Northport 65-35 on Tuesday, December 22nd. Malik Jackson scored a game-high 17 points to lead Bay Shore. John Horrowitz added 12 points, while Jordan Allen chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Northport falls to 0-2, while Bay Shore rises to 2-0 in League II play.

Bay Shore Downs Thunderbirds -
The Marauders topped Connetquot 62-43 on December 18th at Bay Shore. Jordan Allen scored a team-high 20 points to lead Bay Shore (1-0) in League II. Malik Jackson chipped in 19.

St. Anthony's Top Marauders -
St. Anthony's defeated Bay Shore 48-45 on Saturday, December 5th. The game was a dead-lock after the first quarter 12-12 and the second quarter 24-2. St. Anthony pulled away and held the Marauders to only nine points in the third quarter (12-9), which was the difference as St. Anthony's and Bay Shore both scored 12 points in the final quarter. Jordan Allen scored 14 points to lead Bay Shore and Malik Jackson added nine including four points from the free throw line. The Marauders had eight players contribute to the score but it wasn't enough for a win, as they fall to 0-2 on the season.

Bay Shore Loses Heartbreaker -

St. John the Baptist defeated the Marauders 62-61 on Wednesday, December 3rd at Bay Shore. In the first quarter St. John the Baptist edged the Marauders by one point 20-19 respectively and took over heading into halftime with a 40-29 advantage. In the end, the game came to the last second after Bay Shore took lead with 3.37 seconds left but Khaleev Ginyard hit a three point shot from the corner to solidify the win for St. John the Baptist. Jordan Allen led Bay Shore in scoring with 18 points and Malik Jackson tallied 17 points, including two three-pointers in the season opener for the Marauders.
