Knock Off Marauders in Semifinals -
No. 2 ranked Walt Whitman defeated No.
3 Bay Shore 71-51 on the Suffolk Class AA County
Semifinal game at Stony Brook. Whitman's Kyheem
Green scored his 1,000th and 1,001th points. The
Wildcats started and ended strong outscoring Bay
Shore in the first quarter 21-11 and in the fourth
quarter 24-13 to advance to the finals. Marauder
senior Orayne McEachron scored a team high 13
points followed by senior Booker Hucks who finished
with 12 points in the loss. Scoring: W: Green

Marauders Advance to the Suffolk County Semifinals
-
Marcus Damas led the way for Bay Shore
scoring 17 points as No. 3 Bay Shore (17-4) topped
No. 6 Lindenhurst 68-56 in the Suffolk Class AA
quarterfinals. The Marauders took an early lead
outscoring the Bulldogs 17-9 in the first quarter
but Lindenhurst closed the gap scoring 17 points
of their own in the second quarter. The Bulldogs
closed the gap trailing as close as three points
in the second half but the Marauders responded.
Barry Ingram (15) hit some key shots in the fourth
including a deep three-pointer to send the message
to the Bulldogs. Bay Shore plays No 2 Whitman
6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stony Brook University in

In the first round of the playoffs, the
third ranked Marauders defeated 14th ranked Smithtown
East 58-45 on on February 19th. Booker Hucks had
14 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks to lead
Bay Shore. The Marauders improve to 15-4 overall.
Barry Ingram added 13 points and five assists.

Marauders Hand Whitman First Loss of the Season

With the league II title on the line
and in front of a crowd of 1,200 fans the Marauders
played their
"A" game. Senior Booker Hucks finished
with a game-high 30 points in a 72-54 win, as
the Marauders clinched the Suffolk League II co-championship
with Whitman. Bay Shore extended its nine-point
halftime lead to 20 in the fourth quarter despite
going 19-of-42 from the free-throw line. Kyheem
Green led Whitman with 15 points.Both teams finished
the regular season with 13-1 league records. Scoring:

Booker Hucks had 27 points including

Connetquot Thunderbirds 67-55 on Wednesday, February
6th at Connetquot. The Marauders were led by Orayne

Bay Shore improve to 10-1 in League II. Scoring:

The Marauders knocked off the Cougars

Commack (1-8) with a game-high 20 points. Scoring:

The Wildcats continue their winning streak

The Marauders topped the Lions 50-32
in League II action on Tuesday evening at Bay
Shore. Marcus Damas and Jordan Allen led Bay Shore
with 11 points each. The Maraudes held West Islip
to only two points in the second quarter, going
into the half leading 21-11. Bay Shore improves

Bay Shore lost their lead with 1:30 left
to play as East Hampton who improves to 4-1took
the lead and ran with it. Bay Shore was led by
senior Booker Huchs who recorded 21 points in

Uniondale Takes Down Bay Shore 70-57 -
The Marauders fell short to Uniondale
70-57 at the Isaiah Stantion Memorial on Saturday,
December 22nd. Uniondale lead heading into the
half 35-26 but Bay Shore came out firing in the
third quarter to cut the lead down to two. Uniondale
responded scoring 24 points to Bay Shore's 13
points in the fourth to be crowned champions.
Uniondale improves to 3-1 and the Marauders fall
to 2-2 overall. Bay Shore's senior guard Booker
Hucks scored 18 points and was just named to Newsday's
Suffolk Players to watch. Scoring for Uniondale:

Hucks Leads Bay Shore Over Brentwood 88-71 -
Senior guard Booker Hucks had 22 points
to lead the Marauders over Brentwood 8-71. Hucks
added six threes, to go along with 12 rebounds
and five blocks for host Bay Shore in the first
round of the Isaiah Stanton Tournament. Barry
Ingram had 12 points and 15 assists. J. J. Moore
had 16 points and Kendall Herris added 15. Brentwood
plays Uniondale at 4:15 p.m. Saturday in the final.

The Marauders fell short to Xaverian
56-64 on Tuesday, December 18th. Bay Shore had
the early lead 26-22 heading into half-time but
that would change. Xaverian came out firing after
the half and outscored the Maraudes in the third
quarter (23-15) and in the fourth quarter (19-15)
to take the lead they would not relinquish. Bay
Shore senior Booker Hucks led the Marauder offense
with 21 points, followed by Barry Ingram who finished
with 13 points. Scoring for the Maraudes: Ingram

Clash 63-49 -
Senior guard Booker Hucks, who was named Most
Outstanding Player, had 19 points and seven rebounds
to lead Bay Shore (1-0) in the Nassau-Suffolk
Clash. Uniondale outscored the Marauders in the
first and second half leading 31-24 heading into
halftime. Bay Shore brought the defense in the
third holding Uniondale to just two points. Orayne
McEachron scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds
