Marauders Upset Connetquot in Second Round -
Bay Shore came out swinging knocking off the Thunderbirds 9-4 in the second round of the Class AA Playoffs. John Soldinger's two-RBI double in the seventh inning put No. 13 Bay Shore (14-9) ahead, 6-3, over No. 5 Connetquot (17-6) in the second round of the Class AA playoffs. Chris Cruz went 3-for-4 with two singles, a double and an RBI and was named the winning pitcher. Brandon Agosto went 2-for-3 with three runs and Paul Posillico went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Cruz pitched four innings with five hits and three earned runs. Bay Shore will play at No. 4 Commack Saturday at 11 a.m. Connetquot finished 16-8.

Bay Shore Bangs Smitthtown East -
The Marauders topped Smithtown East 3-2 in the first round of the class AA playoffs. Dan Horne hit a bases-loaded single in the sixth inning to drive in two runs and tie the game at two. Later in the inning, a throwing error allowed Paul Posillico to score the go-ahead run. John Soldinger gave up an earned run on one hit and two walks and struck out two to get the win, which advanced Bay Shore (13-9) to the second round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Bay Shore will play Connetquot at 4 p.m. Friday.

Lions Knock Off Bay Shore 11-9 -
West Islip surged late in the game to boost the Lions over the Marauders 11-9. West Islip was led by Steven Atan who hit a two-run triple in the bottom of the sixth inning. Bay Shore's Joe Eliopoulos hit a homerun in the loss. West Islip improves to 7-3.

Marauders Take Down Smithtown West -
Bay Shore came out on top 2-0 against Smithtown West on Wednesday, May 14th. John Soldinger threw a five-hitter, struck out 11 and walked four and Chris Cruz went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in the top of the sixth to give Bay Shore the 1-0 advantage. The Marauders improve to 12-9 a 1-0 lead in non-league.

Cruz Downs St. John the Baptist -
Sophomore pitcher Chris Cruz recorded teh win on the mound as Bay Shore defeated St. John the Baptist 6-2 on Tuesday, May 13th. Steve Costanzo went 2-for-4 with four RBIs, including a triple. Teammate Frank Arcuri added two hits and an RBI in non-league as Bay Shore improves to (11-8). Dan Horne went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Sachem Sweeps Bay Shore -
Sachem North took the early lead and Bay Shore came back but it wasn't enough as Sachem knocks off Bay Shore to remain first in League II. The final score was 4-3 and the Marauders threatened in the sixth with bases-loaded but failied to take advantage. Anthony Eilers took the loss on the mound for the maroon and white.

Bay Shore Loses Second Straight -
Sachem North defeated the Marauders 11-4 on Tuesday, April 6th at Baseball Heaven. Sachem North (10-4) is tied for first in League II and Bay Shore (9-7) falls to third. Chris Cruz took the loss on the mound. The Marauders will look to end the two-game slide on Thursday, April 8th for the third game against Sachem North.

Marauders Lose Heartbreaker -
Sachem North came from behind to knock off Bay Shore 4-3 on Monday, April 5th. Frank Scarlato's double in the top of the seventh gave Sachem North the 4-3 lead they would not relinquish. Bay Shore totalled three runs on six hits and falls to 10-6. The Marauders will get revenge tomorrow as they travel to Baseball Heaven to take on Sachem North in the second game of a three-game series.

Bay Shore Sweeps Central Islip -
Junior Anthony Eilers got the win on the mound as Bay Shore defeated Central Islip 8-1. Sophomore Chris Cruz and senior Paul Posillico each went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run for Bay Shore. The Marauders improve to (10-5) in League II.

Marauders Take Game Two From Central Islip -
Bay Shore took the second game of a three-game series against Central Islip by a score of 16-4. Senior Brandon Agosto led Bay Shore going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI and two runs scored. Senior Joe Eliopolous went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs.
Sophomore pitcher Chris Cruz recorded the win as Bay Shore improves to (9-5 in League II).

Bay Shore Rolls Past Central Islip -
Marauder senior David White entered in relief in the second inning for starter John Soldinger, who suffered an arm injury and gave up no hits, one walk and struck out seven. White led Bay Shore over Central Islip 9-0. Joe Eliopoulos went 3-for-4 with four RBIs.
Bay Shore improves to (8-5) in League II.

Bay Shore Tops Connetquot 2-1 -
In game three the Marauders won 2-1 over the Thunder Birds to take the the series two games to one. Brandon Agosto hit a two-out single to score Steve Costanzo in the bottom of the seventh inning to win it for Bay Shore Paul Posillico came in relief in the top of the seventh with one out and the go-ahead run at second base and struck out the next two batters to get the win. John Demeo tied the score at 1 in the fifth with a fielder's choice for Bay Shore. Bay Shore improves to 7-5 and Connetquot falls to 6-3 in League II.

T-Birds Top Bay Shore -
Connetquot took the second game of a three-game series against Bay Shore. The Thunder Birds defeated the Marauders 11-4 on Tuesday, April 22nd. Both teams meet again on Thursday, April 24th for the final game of a three-game series.

Marauders Roll Past Connetquot 7-1 -
Bay Shore is on a roll winning their fourth straight as they topped the T-Birds 7-1 on Monday, April 21st. Junior John Soldinger threw a one-hitter and struck out six for the win for Bay Shore (6-4) in League II. Soldinger also went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Sophomore Chris Cruz went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and senior Joe Eliopolous went 2-for-4 with one run. Connetquot is 5-2.

Bay Shore Sweeps Whitman -
The Marauders defeated Walt Whitman 12-10 on Thursday, April 17th. Junior Joe DeRuvo got his first varsity win as the Marauders swept the Wildcats. DeRuvo pitched four innings in relief and John Slodinger came in with two outs with the tying run on second and picked up the save. Paul Posillico went 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs and Dan Horne had two hits and one RBI for Bay Shore (5-4) in League II.

Marauders Slam Whitman 14-2-
Bay Shore defeated the Wildcats 14-2 on Tuesday, April 15th in front of a home crowd. Junior John Soldinger went 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBI and teammate sophomore Chris Cruz went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Cruz also recorded the win on the day. Both the Marauders and Whitman are 4-4 on the season. Bay Shore leads the series 2-0 and will travel to Whitman tomorrow for the third game.

Costanzo Hits Game-Winner for Bay Shore -
Junior Steve Costanzo led the Marauders to a 3-2 victory over Walt Whitman in the first game of a three game series. Costanzo, in his first varsity start, hit a two-run double to put visiting Bay Shore up 3-2 in the top of the seventh inning after trailing 2-0 going into the frame. Costanzo went 2-for-3 on the afternoon. Bay Shore improves to 3-4 and Whitman is 4-3 in League II. Junior John Soldinger gets the win on the mound for Bay Shore.

Northport Downs Bay Shore 7-3 -
The Marauders fell short lossing to Northport 7-3. Senior Jeremy White took the loss on the hill as Bay Shore falls to 2-4 on the season. The game was tight until the sixth inning when Northport strung a few hits together to break the game open. Bay Shore in next in action on April 14th when they travel to Walt Whitman.

Cruz One Hits Commack -
Bay Shore defeated Commack 1-0 in a make-up game due to rain that was suppose to be played on March 31st. Sophomore Chris Cruz gave up one hit and struck out seven in 6 2/3 innings in his first outing on the mound. Bay Shore improves to 2-3 in League II. Senior Frank Arcuri's RBI single scored senior Paul Posillico in the bottom of the fifth inning for the game's lone run.

Northport Sqeezes Past Marauders -
Bay Shore falls to Northport 4-3 on Tuesday, April 8th. A fielders choice changed the game in the seventh inning as Northport pushed the winning run. Bay Shore senior pitcher Paul Posillico took the loss on the mound.

Bay Shore Takes First Game From Northport -
Junior John Soldinger was solid on the mound to lead the Marauders over Northport 6-1 on Monday, April 7th. Soldinger struck out 12 and gave up two hits in six innings and also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Senior Dan Horne went 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI. The Marauders improve to 1-2 and Northport falls to 1-3 in League II play.

Marauders Fall to Commack -
Commack jumped on the board in the fourth with a three-run inning. Bay Shore pushed a run of their own but couldn't come back. Junior Anthony Eilers took the loss on the mound as Commack defeated the Bay Shore 9-1 on Thursday, April 2nd. The Marauders have one more game against the Cougars.

Commack Sneaks Past Bay Shore 2-0 -
After two days of rainouts, Commack defeated Bay Shore 2-0 in their first league game of the '08 season. The Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of the first and held the Marauders scoreless for the shutout. The Marauders scattered four hits but could not put anything together. Junior pitcher John Soldinger took the loss.

Floyd Comes From Behind to Beat Bay Shore -
The Marauders led heading into the seventh 6-5 but William Floyd came from behind to rally for the 7-6 win. Floyd inproves to 1-0 in non-league and Bay Shore falls to 0-1. Junior pitcher John Soldinger took the loss.
