Bay Shore Bounced from the Post Season -
No. 11 Commack ended the No. 14 Marauders season with a 10-3 win in the first round of the Class AA consolation bracket. Commack will play Connetquot, today at 4 p.m. at the higher seed.

No. 3 Hills West Beats No. 14 Bay Shore -
Third ranked Half Hollow Hills West defeated the No. 14 ranked Marauders 6-4 on Saturday, May 22nd in the first round of the Suffolk County Playoffs. The Colts took the lead in the 6th on a ground ball for the go-ahead run. Hills West's winning pitcher T.J. Pecoraro threw a four-hitter with 17 strikeouts. Half Hollow Hills West (17-4) will play Monday against the winner of Centereach and Commack.

Bay Shore Playoff Bound -
With a 4-2 win over Walt Whitman on Thursday, May 20th the Marauders find themselves in the post season hunt. Chris Cruz led the way for Bay Shore as he struck out 10, walked three and scattered six hits. Connor Coman went 3-for-3 with a triple a run and a stolen base in the win. With bases loaded in the top of the seventh, Coman made a diving stop at shortstop and flipped to second baseman John DeMeo for a game-ending force play as Bay Shore clinched a playoff berth.

Marauders in Must Win Situation -
With a 4-2 loss today, May 19th, to Whitman, Bay Shore must win tomorrow at home vs. the Wildcats in order to make it to the post season. Bay Shore scattered three hits on the day and it wasn't enough dropping to 8-8 in leauge play. Justin Borders took the loss on the hill for Bay Shore. Bay Shore concludes the regular season tomorrow at 4:00 pm as they host Whitman for Senior Day.

Bay Shore Edges Whitman -
The Marauders took the first game from Walt Whitman, 5-4 on Monday, May 17th. Senior Dave George led the way for Bay Shore going 2-for-4 with a three-run home run. Senior Chris Cruz went 1-for-2 with two walks and a home run and sophomore Tyler White went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two runs and stolen base as Bay Shore improves to 9-7 in League II.

Marauders Win the Northport Series -
Bay Shore defeated the Tigers 10-1 on Friday, May 13th. Pitching a complete game, Senior Chris Cruz threw a 3-hittter, with one unearned run , 10 strikeouts, and three walks. The offense was led by David George 1-for-2 with two walks and 2 RBI, Justin Borders who was 1-for-1 with 2 walks and 2 RBI, and Connor Coman who was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI. Matt Vullo recorded his first varsity hit and Jordan Soldinger also recorded his first varsity hit with was scored as a double. Jordan Soldinger also notched his his first varsity RBI knocking in Matt Vullo in the victory.

Borders Blows Out Northport -
Sophomore pitcher Justin Borders threw seven innings with one earned run, six strikeouts and one walk to lead the Marauders over the Tigers on Tuesday, May 11th. Borders helped his cause going 2-for-3 with a double, triple and three RBI. Senior Chris Cruz hit a grand slam home run and sophomore Tyler White had a triple and two RBI. Senior Connor Coman was 2-for-2 with two RBI and two walks and sophomore Dom Laferera was 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI for Bay Shore, 7-7 in League II.

Killeen Leads Marauders Over Northport -
Andy Killeen recorded the win on the mound to lead Bay Shore over the Tigers 7-6 on Monday, May 10th. Killeen led off the bottom of the eighth with an infield single. John Smith pinch ran for Killeen advanced to third on a bunt and wild throw. Tyler White drove in Smith from third with a one-out single to win it for Bay Shore (6-7) in League II. Killeen pitched all eight innings, struck out eight and allowed five earned runs. David George went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, John DeMeo went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Craig Henricksen went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Lindenhurst Offense Too Much For Marauders-

Ryan Manning went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two walks (one intentional), five RBIs and a run for Lindenhurst (14-1) in League I. Mike Roehrig was 1-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs, Ken Gentile went 3-for-4 with three runs, and Steve Skon was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Junior Nick Bianco earned his first varsity win after throwing 3 2/3 innings of relief, allowing one unearned run with two strikeouts. Bay Shore is 5-7.

Lindy Shuts Out Marauders -
The Bulldogs edged Bay Shore 3-0 on Tuesday, May 4th in the second game of a three game series. Bay Shore struckout 11 times in the game and only recorded two hits in the loss. Lindenhurst remains on top of league II and improves to 13-1.

Bulldogs Bite Bay Shore -
Lindy and Bay Shore were tied 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth until a single up the middle scored go-ahead run as the Bulldogs defeated the Marauders 5-4. to lead Bay Shore had a opportunity to tie of the score in the top of the seventh but Lindy's shortstop had a diving catch to preserved the lead. Lindenhurst improves to 12-1 on the season and with the win, Joe Lovizio is 5-0 on the season.

Smithtown West Downs Bay Shore -
The Bulls beat the Marauders 8-2 in a non-league game on Thursday, April 29th. Bay Shore was no-hit for 6 2/3 innings until John DeMeo broke up the no-hitter with a triple.

Maurauders Can't Keep Up-

Sachem North takes the third game of the series 9-2. Dan D'Orazio struck out two and walked three and allowed six hits and one earned run to lead Sachem North (5-2) in League II. Brendan Garry went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored and Alec Solay went 2-for-4 with two runs. Craig Henriksen went 3-for-3 for Bay Shore.

Flaming Arrows Take Game Two -
Sachem North knocked down Bay Shore 3-1 on Tuesday, April 20th. The Marauders manufactured one run on four hits and four walks but it wasn't enough. Sachem North improves to 4-1 and Bay Shore falls to 5-3. Andy Killeen got the loss for the Marauders.

Marauders Down the Flaming Arrows -
Bay Shore topped Sachem North 7-4 on Monday, April 19th in the first game of a three-game series. Senior pitcher Chris Cruz allowed two earned runs and struck out seven and went 2-for-2 with two walks, two RBIs and a triple to lead the Marauders. Senior David George went 3-for-4 and sophomore Bryan Dromerhauser went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Bay Shore (5-2) in League II. Sachem North is 3-1.

White Leads Bay Shore -
Sophomore Tyler White was 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs to lead the Marauders over Central Islip 10-6 on Thursday, April 15th. Senior Chris Cruz was 1-for-2 with a triple, three RBIs, two walks and one run. Pitcher Andrew Arcuri got the win for Bay Shore as they improve to (4-3, 4-2) in League II.

Killeen Leads Bay Shore Over Musketeers -
Pitcher Andy Killeen threw a complete game with two hits, one run, five stirkeouts and no walks to Bay Shore over Central Islip 12-1 on April 13th. Connor Coman was two-for-four with three RBIs and Tyler White was two-for-four with a triple and three RBIs. The Marauders improve to 3-2.

Cruz No-Hits Central Islip -
Senior Chris Cruz threw the first no-hitter in Bay Shore since Phil McCollum in 1997, according to coach Dennis McManaway. Cruz allowed three walks, one earned run and eight strikeouts. Senior David George went 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs and junior John DeMeo went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored. The Marauders improve to 2-2, while Central Islip falls to 0-4 in League II play.

In the last game of a three-game series, Connetquot took the 9-1 win improving to 2-1 on the season. Bay Shore scattered four hits and scored one run in the loss. The Marauders fall to 1-2 on the season.

The Marauders improve to 1-1 on the season with a 9-3 victory over Connetquot. Pitcher Andy Killeen scattered nine hits over seven innings, allowing three earned runs with four strikeouts and three walks to lead Bay Shore in League II. Chris Cruz was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs and Craig Henriksen was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Andrew Arcuri went 1-for-2 with two RBIs in his first varsity at-bat.
