Boys Cross Country |

The Boys Varsity Cross Country Team competed in the Section XI Divisional Championships on Tuesday, October 24th and took 12th out of 28 teams. Senior capt. Matt Cohen led the attack with an outstanding 8th place performance on the grueling 5000 meter course at Sunken Meadow State Park. His time of 17:46.0 places him among the top 50 cross country athletes in the county. Junior Emmet Farnan also ran a personal best of 18:30.6 to take 2nd for the Marauders. The team is hitting it's stride just in time for next Friday's State Qualifier which will also be held at "The Meadow". Other fine performances were turned in by seniors Will Norris, and Pernell Gulley, as well as juniors Kareem Roberts and Rich Arcuri. |
